Tyler E. Wendt, CFEI

Tyler Wendt is a Senior Staff Consultant for ESI. Tyler holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology and Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Fire Protection Engineering from California Polytechnic State University. Tyler is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator through the National Association of Fire Investigators. He conducts forensic engineering analysis and the origin and cause of fire and explosion investigations, as well as fire protection system, electrical, and mechanical system failure analysis involving residences, commercial properties, and vehicles. He has also examined failures to determine the cause of losses involving water. Additionally, he has experience in fire and life safety evaluations, fire suppression and alarm system design, code consulting, plan review and computer aided drafting. He provides technical and litigation support to insurance companies, law firms, property developers, property managers, engineering firms and industrial companies.
