Trainor J. Linne

Trainor Linne is a Senior Staff Consultant for Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) in the Civil, Structural, and Environmental practice group.

Prior to joining ESi, Mr. Linne worked as a project manager developing shipboard stability and load management software for a variety of vessels, including tankers, livestock carriers, bulk carriers, and container ships.  Mr. Linne was responsible for the engineering and technical aspects of the stability software and ensured the program met the proper regulatory requirements for each vessel as dictated by IACS UR L. Additionally, Mr. Linne ensured the program met the clients’ requirements and managed the development of any special calculation requests or operational limits defined within the program.

Since joining ESi, Mr. Linne has been active in investigations involving damage assessment of structures following storm damage, as well as failure analysis of construction defects.
