Mr. Francisco Godoy has over 35 years of experience in general mechanical design (machine design, specification, and requisition of equipment, etc.), general stress analysis (finite element analysis), piping and vessels stress analysis, dynamic analysis, applied mechanics, oil and gas industry (upstream and downstream), power generation, fluid dynamic, heat transfer, fracture mechanics, manufacturing and casting processes, lean manufacturing, alternative energies, combustion and explosion analysis, mechanical plants construction costs, and mechanical processes cost estimation.

Mr. Godoy has participated in the ‘Design Review’ for USA-EPA mandatory requirements for high pressure gas/oil wells’ components: BOPs, valve trees, choke manifolds, safety valves, packers, etc., intended to be used in the Gulf of Mexico. He has vast experience in pressure vessel design (ASME, BPVC Section VIII, Div. 1, 2 & 3), process piping, storage tanks, fired heaters, heat exchangers, and general vessel design is the oil and gas industry

In the field of civil engineering, he’s an expert in structural analysis and design (static and dynamic) of civil structures (seismic and wind loads application and codes compliance), construction methods, construction cost, construction defects analysis, and design and vibration analysis of offshore platforms (environmental loads development and simulation), and construction management.
