Mr. Joshua Rogers is a mechanical engineer who specializes in accident reconstruction investigations. He utilizes PC-Crash software to perform accident simulations during his investigations. Additionally, Mr. Rogers is certified in FARO scene and vehicle surveying.  His professional experience includes failure analysis, machine design, process implementation for machine elements and subassemblies, performance and analysis of bearing components and assemblies used in a variety of engineering applications including automotive, heavy truck, mining, construction, agriculture, and rental equipment investigations to determine if an issue was caused by a failure or operator error.

Prior to joining ESi, Mr. Rogers was an Application Engineer at Schaeffler Group USA, a tier 1 bearing supplier for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) in the automotive, aerospace, and agriculture industries. During his time at Schaeffler Group USA, Mr. Rogers was responsible for interacting directly with the client and designing bearing packages for specific applications pertaining to agriculture and power transmission. His duties included understanding the design of the entire system, the loads and environment the system is exposed to, and then designing the appropriate bearings to both fit within the system and handle the loads and environment. Mr. Rogers was also responsible for failure analysis and warranty returns, including performing design, failure modes, and effects analysis (DFMEA), and designing a suitable replacement.
