ESi Named 2023 GLOBE Award Recipient

ATLANTA – May 18, 2023 – Today, Engineering System Inc (ESi) was officially announced a 2023 GLOBE Award recipient by the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). Managed by the GDEcD International Trade team, this award program highlights Georgia companies that contribute to the state’s economic growth through global trade and export development. This is ESi’s first time to be recognized with the GLOBE Award.

ESi is honored by this recognition of the international outreach efforts driven by our Georgia office. “Many employees from across the company have been instrumental in introducing our services into new international markets, creating a wealth of opportunities for ESi, our partners, and our clients,” said ESi President and Chief Operating Officer Will Pinkston. “I would like to extend a special thank you to the following team members for their leadership in helping us build and scale these important opportunities to deliver our market-leading capabilities globally: 

• Consultant and lead for Asia Pacific engagement, Jay Sohn and Principal and Sr. Director of Mechanics Matt Kenner, for their work in the Republic of Korea
• Managing Consultant and Director of Automotive Technology Hernán Mercado-Corujo and Sr. Consultant Diana Estrada for their continuing efforts in Mexico and Central America

The GLOBE Awards program began in 2014 to recognize local businesses contributing to Georgia’s economic growth through global trade. Since then, GDEcD has presented 323 GLOBE Awards to companies across 46 Georgia counties. ESi is proud to be recognized as an important part of this effort.
