Joshua Dudeck, P.E. is a Senior Staff Consultant with Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) and a member of the Automotive Accident Reconstruction Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics and brings broad experience across forensic-style investigations, automotive engineering, and mechanical failure analysis.

Mr. Dudeck has extensive experience conducting technical investigations, leading engineering teams, and producing high‑quality technical documentation for regulatory, legal, and executive audiences. His background includes failure analysis, advanced modeling, and performance evaluation of mechanical and vehicle systems. He applies a rigorous, data‑driven approach to forensic consulting, emphasizing sound engineering principles, objective analysis, and clear communication of findings.

He has deep hands‑on expertise with vehicle systems, including building engines and drivetrains, custom fabrication, data acquisition and logging, and performance testing. His technical skill set is supported by advanced proficiency in CAD, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and dynamic system modeling, enabling comprehensive evaluation of complex mechanical systems.

Mr. Dudeck is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Colorado. He is certified by the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) as a CP3 Cathodic Protection Technologist, AMPP CP Interference, and he is also a certified NWIS Hydrostatic Test Inspector.
