Mr. Wicks is a mechanical engineer who practices machine design at a Maintenance of Way (MoW) equipment manufacturer. He has experience in the design, fabrication, and testing of MoW equipment, including Hi-Rail machines, railbound machines, and specialized attachments. Additionally, Mr. Wicks has designed structural and user features for utility vehicles, notably towing systems and material transportation.

Mr. Wicks specializes in the design for manufacturing and strength analysis of steel members. A specific focus is added to welded and bolted joints throughout all machines and implements. For over half a decade Mr. Wicks has been practicing his skills in solid modeling, prototyping, finite element analysis, and machine design.
