Benjamin Royall

Mr. Royall is a senior technologist for ESi Automotive Research and Accident Reconstruction team.  He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Colorado and is a registered Engineering Intern in the state of Colorado.  He performs vehicle and site inspections, site surveys using Nikon Total Station equipment and FARO Focus 3D laser scanner. He executes vehicle downloads on cars, trucks and commercial vehicles.

His skills include Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Machining (CAM), test fixture design, machine shop and fabrication, Finite Element Modeling (FEM). Licensed class A commercial vehicle operator with endorsements for doubles, triples, tankers, passengers and motorcycles. Experienced in data collection and instrumentation and has assisted in materials, driving and flight tests. Mr. Royall has more than 10 years experience as a machinist, toolmaker, and CAD technician.  Member of an amateur race team, acting as a car builder, mechanic, and driver.
