Mr. Wylie Wong is a Senior Staff Consultant at ESi in the Aurora, Illinois office and a member of the Biomechanics and Safety practice group. His principal areas of professional activity are mechanical engineering, product safety and design, and accident analysis and reconstruction.
Mr. Wong was previously employed at Weber-Stephen Products first as a test engineer in the laboratory, and then as a design and project engineer maintaining existing products and developing new products in the gas train group. He previously worked at Underwriters Laboratories in their HVAC and Refrigeration group certifying products to UL, CSA, international IEC safety compliance standards for large and small companies. He was also a technical auditor for client labs under UL’s Client Test Data Program. He applies this experience to safety-focused evaluations of consumer products, industrial equipment, and machinery.
