Jesse F. Hill, A&P, AET, GROL

Mr. Hill has 15 years of experience as an FAA certified Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and aircraft electrical / avionics technician and in aircraft accident failure analysis involving aviation maintenance standard of care issues. His areas of expertise include line maintenance, avionics line maintenance, heavy maintenance, avionics overhaul, and airline ground support equipment repair and maintenance (GSE). Mr. Hill’s expertise is spread across many aircraft types, his experience includes work with heavy commercial jets, corporate, general aviation aircraft, and helicopter. Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance, an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator certificate w/ ships’ radar endorsement, and an Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification through ASTM / NCATT. He is also an accomplished aviation ground service equipment (GSE) and automotive mechanic, being certificated as a master automobile mechanic by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (NIASE / ASE).

Mr. Hill also has an additional 17 years of firearms expertise including work with firearm failures and mechanical issues in rifles, shotguns handguns, and ammunition. His experience includes firearms safety, firearms design, ammunition failures, manufacturing methods and design for manufacture, accuracy enhancement, firing cycle and pressure containment, headspace and barrel issues, repairs and troubleshooting, and general firearms maintenance. He holds expert rifle and sharpshooter grenade qualifications which he earned in training with the U.S. Army.

In the area of manufacturing, Mr. Hill is accomplished in manual and CNC machining technology, including certification with Mastercam Mill computer aided drafting and manufacturing software as a CNC programmer. Mr. Hill is able to program, edit, and evaluate machining code in native G and M code as well.
