Nicholas J. Spruill, CFEI, FIT

Mr. Nicholas Spruill has experience in physical and mechanical testing of engines. He is certified with the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI). He performs site investigations, surveying, mapping, and failure analysis. He specializes in machine shop practices, test set-ups, digital and optical microscopy, video, and forensic photography.

Prior to joining ESi, he worked in multiple fields including inventory control and logistics, automotive customization and sales, and public safety in the fire service.

Mr. Spruill is a certified Dive Master in the PADI dive system, and he also has certification surveying and mapping of underwater environments, inspection and analysis of underwater debris and wreckage, and Emergency First Response (EFR) for accident or injury incidents. He has also completed the Fire Fighter 1 Training.
