D. Kirk McCluckie

D. Kirk McCluckie has been a forensics expert within the construction industry for more than 25 years. His experience includes Owner’s Representative and Construction Manager roles that provide technical evaluations of residential and commercial structures. Mr. McCluckie specializes in the functionality and longevity of a building’s envelope in every climate imaginable. 

Mr. McCluckie has testified as a building materials expert in multiple cases, from large construction defect claims to weather-related residential perils, for both Plaintiff and Defense councils.  His investigations include thermal expansion and contraction limitations, moisture intrusion, earth movement and settling, building material defects and failures, deferred maintenance, and a contractor’s Standard of Care.

From laboratory testing to field investigations, Mr. McCluckie’s expertise in the full construction lifecycle allows him to provide the correct repair recommendations for each specific project.
